PLEA Association is an organization engaged in a worldwide discourse on sustainable architecture and urban design through annual international conferences, workshops and publications. It has created a community of several thousand professionals, academics and students from over 40 countries. Participation in PLEA activities is open to all whose work deals with architecture and the built environment, who share our objectives and who attend PLEA events.
37th PLEA Conference on Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design for the first time will take place in Poland! We will welcome all participants in the heart of Europe, at Wrocław to discuss the most actual and urgent topics related to the role of the built environment in the climate change mitigation and adaptation.

PLEA 2024 GALA DINNER
REGISTER TO PLEA 2024 GALA DINNER IN MUSEUM OF ARCHITECTURE (in ConfTool) BEFORE 5TH MAY
We will enjoy excellent food, wine and music in the beautiful historic interiors of the former Bernardine monastery, which houses the only Museum of Architecture in this part of Europe.
Dress code: black tie / evening dress; long dresses and national outfit most welcome.

CONFERENCE AGENDA AVAILABLE IN CONFTOOL
We are delighted to announce that PLEA 2024 will have 24 sessions (12 of them in hybrid mode) with the best papers selected by the Scientific Committee.
This year all presentations will be oral to honor the high quality of submitted contributions and to minimize the environmental impact (we opt for print-free conference!). All proceedings will be available on-line to extend your visibility and highlight the significance of PLEA 2024 Conference.

student design workshops
We are happy to announce that the PLEA 2024 conference is supplemented with a one-day Instant Climate Hub – on-site student design workshops. Running through the day of the 26th of June 2024, it takes place at the local Faculty of Architecture and aims at envisioning its sustainable future.
We cordially invite passionate students of design faculties to enroll and take part in this unique one-day think-tank.
The Instant Climate Hub is an improvised, temporary, international design think-tank made for one day within the PLEA 2024 conference framework. The Hub, fueled by students’ input with tutors’ support, is created to make the participants more aware of sustainable research and development and, consequently, of possibilities to solve climate issues through smart and resilient design.
The application deadline is the 3rd of May 2024, 23:59 CEST.
